My Approach

I believe counseling should be a place where you do not have to perform, clean things up, or pretend you are doing better than you are. Real therapy starts with honesty, and honesty usually begins when people feel safe enough to let their guard down.

My approach is grounded, relational, and practical. I help clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that are keeping them stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to what life is putting in front of them. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or a difficult life transition, our work will focus on helping you make sense of what is happening and what needs to change.

Many people come into counseling feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, disconnected, or worn down by the same thoughts and reactions repeating over time. Therapy gives you a space to slow down, be honest, and begin working through what is weighing on you.

I believe growth is not about shame or pretending to become someone else. It is about understanding your story, building on your strengths, and learning new ways to live, respond, and relate. The goal is not just insight during the session, but meaningful change in everyday life.

Some parts of your story may be hard to talk about. Some may still be shaping your present more than you realize. We can work through those things together in a way that is steady, respectful, and focused on helping you move forward.
